Staff: Chris Hill

Chris grew up in Oklahoma and has called Central Oregon home since 2014. She has built her career around supporting children, families, and her community. Before joining Friends of the Children, she worked in the Bend-La Pine School District in school office administration and special education support roles. Through that work, Chris discovered how deeply she values building meaningful relationships with young people and their families, advocating for their needs, and being a consistent, trusted source of support.

Chris is continuing her education in Educational Studies and is excited to bring her experience, compassion, and commitment to supporting youth and families into her role with Friends of the Children.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exploring Central Oregon and the Oregon Coast, staying active, and spending time with family and her pets.
