Chloe Manke

Development Director

Chloe's journey began in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, where she grew up and cultivated a deep appreciation for tight-knit, rural communities. This early sentiment became the cornerstone of her values and resonates strongly with the spirit of Central Oregon, her chosen home since spring 2019.

After venturing across the United States and raising funds for a charity, she returned to NC to complete her degree in Sustainable Development at Appalachian State University where she focused on environmental education and non-profit work in the community.

In 2015, the allure of the West called, and Chloe embarked on a new chapter in the Pacific Northwest. Her multifaceted career spans over a decade of enriching experiences across non-profits, early childhood education, hospitality, recruiting, and business development. Her unwavering commitment to relationship-building and community strengthening, especially among the younger generation, stands as her most profound professional legacy. Chloe firmly believes that nurturing and investing in children is the foundation of a stronger community, as they are the beacon of our future.

Outside her professional endeavors and dedicated board service with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend and Visit Bend, Chloe finds solace in writing comedy, indulging in podcasts, reading, and exploring the great outdoors, often accompanied by her husband and beloved pup, Brin.
