Brewery Assists Friends of the Children–Central Oregon

BEND, Ore. - Deschutes Brewery announced that they are raising funds to support a new area nonprofit called Friends of the Children—Central Oregon as part of their Community Pints promotion. For every pint purchased on Dec. 4, 11, 18 and the 26, $1 goes directly to Friends–Central Oregon.

Friends–Central Oregon is a new nonprofit that has their own 501(c)(3) status but part of the national Friends of the Children network. Their mission is to provide the most vulnerable children a nurturing and sustained relationship with a caring adult called a Friend.

Friends are salaried, professional mentors, whose full-time jobs are to ensure the educational success, social development and wellbeing of each child through a relationship-based model.
