Whether you donate a cash or stock gift today or make a planned gift in the form of a bequest through your will or trust, your investment provides a lasting impact that extends beyond your family and provides access to life-changing mentors for youth in our community.
Gifts can take many forms: cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, tax-deferred retirement plans and insurance policies.
Making a gift for Friends of the Children–Central Oregon will ensure the long-term sustainability of our innovative program for the next generation.
You can make a big impact with a multi-year pledge that provides critical funding we can count on to ensure our youth receive the services they deserve. Your investment in the future could be an annual gift of $1,500, $5,000, $10,000 or any amount and time with which you are comfortable. If you prefer to use your Donor Advised Fund, rather than a multi-year pledge, you can make one significant gift, and we will allocate the funds to our budget over a time-frame you prefer. Will you join us in our 12+ year commitment to each child?
Forever Home Campaign
In 2019, we'll be actively looking for our forever home–a permanent place that allows us to grow and continue to provide a warm and loving place for the children we serve. Your investment in our campaign allows us to guarantee our children will have a safe place for years and years to come!
Are you age 70 ½ or older?
If so, you can transfer up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to Friends–Central Oregon and satisfy your required minimum distribution without paying any taxes on the withdrawal. Your gift must transfer directly from your plan administrator to Friends–Central Oregon. You won’t pay taxes on the transfer, so there is no additional income tax deduction
Endowment Cash Gift
The Friends of the Children Foundation oversees an investment portfolio that is carefully managed to provide financial security for the next 25 years and beyond. A board of professional financial advisors steward our investments and allocates funds for program expansion and long-term sustainability of Friends of the Children–Central Oregon. Your gift will provide future generations with a professional mentor who will help youth create a new future.
