Outdoor Explorers Camp - June 27-29 (8:00 am to 1:00 pm)

This fun-filled 3-day camp will focus on all things outdoors! In this camp, youth will make animal tracks and learn about the different wildlife in the area, use water tables to see how water flows and changes the landscape, build a water filtration system that will actually clean water, and through fun hands-on activities explore the forests, plants, and birds. In addition, learn all about camping! Stations will include, tying knots, making a fishing pole, setting up a tent, campfire stories, smores, and much more.

Positions Needed:
Setup Helper: On June 24, you would meet at the FOTC Ranch to help set up for the camp. This will include a large amount of physical labor, like setting up tents, canopies, and tables.

Station Teacher: During our camp days, a station teacher helps guide the learning activity at a station for a group of campers. There will be about 10 campers and their Friends. You will stick with the same activity and repeat it four to six times during the day. Each activity will be 20-30 minutes long. It will be planned for you. You will need to arrive at 8 am for a debriefing of the activity.

Snack/Meal Support: This job will be keeping snacks available and prepping food for the campers. Much of the food will already be bagged and ready to go. No cooking involved here...just distribution.

SEL/Safety: This job will be to help check campers in, monitor for safe building use, and support kids in the SEL break tents. No experience needed... just a watchful eye and patience!
